Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the course of science on academic success, attitude and durability of the sixth-class students of the teaching of the subject of the circulation system with the story-backed classroom events. In the study, a semi-experimental research scheme with the pre-test-on-test control group was used. The research was applied to sixth-class students who are studying in a secondary school in the pain or central district in the 2017-2018 educational-learning year. The randomly selected 6/A (30 students) test group and 6/E (30 students) control group are identified. The study is done with the experimental group where the events supported are implemented and the control group where the current teaching system is implemented. The study used the success test to the circulation system as a data collection tool and the biological attitude scale. The analysis of the data obtained from these tools was carried out in the SPSS 22 package program; t-test for independent groups and calculating the impact size. According to the findings obtained in the circulation system, the test group's final-test success score was high compared to the control group, while a significant difference was observed between them. There was a significant difference between the durability test points of the experiment and control group for the benefit of the experiment group. With the results of the attitude towards the course of biology, there was a significant difference in the benefit of the experiment group. Considering the changes in the experiment and control groups, the story-backed classroom activities can be found to contribute positively to improving the achievements of students in the circulation system, changing attitudes and ensuring durability.
