Özel gereksinimli çocukların eğitiminde ailelerin, aile yaşam standartlarının ve yaşam kalitelerinin düzeyi önemli bir etkendir. Özel gereksinimli çocuklar için özel eğitim hizmetlerinin planlanmasında ve sunulmasında aile desteğinin sağlanması ve aile yaşam kalitesi değişkenlerinin belirlenmesi önemlidir. Araştırmada, kaynaştırma/ bütünleştirme ortamında eğitim gören özel gereksinimli çocukların ailelerinin aile yaşam kalitesi değişkenlerine ilişkin algıları incelenmektedir. Araştırma betimsel tarama modelinde olup, 195 anne ve baba katılmıştır. Veriler 2019 yılında Beach Center Aile Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği ile toplanıp, istatistik programlarından t-testi ve ANOVA testleri uygulanarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmaya göre katılımcıların aile yaşam kalitesi ve alt alan puanları (X̄=99.656) ortalamanın üzerindedir. En yüksek algı “ebeveynlik (X̄=25.348)”, en düşük algı ise “duygusal yeterlik (X̄=14.882)” alt alanıdır. Katılımcıların aile yaşam kalitesi ve alt boyutları algıları eğitim durumu, annelerin çalışma saati gibi bazı değişkenlere göre anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşırken, bazılarında ise farklılaşmamaktadır. Sonuç olarak, ailelerin aile yaşam kalitesini etkileyen değişkenlerin incelenmesi ve özel eğitim hizmetlerinin planlanmasında önemlidir.

Abstract:

In the education of special needs children, the level of family, family life standards and quality of life is an important factor. It is important to provide family support in the planning and provision of special educational services for children with special needs and to determine the variables in the quality of life in the family. The study examines the perceptions of families of special needs children who are educated in the co-integration/integration environment about the variables in the quality of family life. The study was in a visual scan model, with 195 mothers and fathers participating. The data was collected by the Beach Center Family Life Quality Scale in 2019 and analyzed by implementing t-test and ANOVA tests from statistical programs. According to the study, the quality of family life and sub-space scores of participants (X ̄ = 99. 656 is above the average. The highest perception is "parenthood (X̄=25.348)" and the lowest perception is "emotional capacity (X̄=14.882)". Participants' perceptions of the quality of family life and subdimensions of the state of education differ significantly according to some variables, such as the working hours of the mothers, while some do not differ. As a result, it is important to study the variables that affect the quality of family life of families and to plan special education services.

The life standards of families of children with disabilities (CwD) indicate that family quality of life (FQOL) and the legal rights of these individuals are improving. This study aims to examine FQOL perceptions of families of CwD who were attending in schools in inclusive settings. This study is designed as a survey research and 195 parents participated. The socio-demographic data was collected in 2019 by using the Family Demographic Information Form and the data about FQOL perceptions were collected with the Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale. The data were analyzed by using t-test and ANOVA tests. According to the research, FQOL of families and sub-domain scores of the participants (X̄=99.656) is above the average. The highest perception is "parenting (X̄=25.348)", the lowest is "emotional well-being (X̄=14.882)". FQOL perceptions of participants and sub-domains differ significantly according to some variables such as educational level and working hours of mothers. Findings indicated that it is very important to examine the variables that affect FQOL to be taken into account in planning special education services.
