Abstract:

Natural disasters cause great losses of lives and goods. According to the analysis, the number of natural disasters in Turkey has increased significantly with the 21st century. The most important measures that can be taken against natural disasters can be carried out by training activities. Teaching programs play an important role in the performance of educational activities. This study aims to study the achievements related to catastrophes in the teaching programmes of all courses included in the course of the course in terms of natural catastrophic literature. In accordance with this objective, the study of the curricula of all courses has identified achievements directly and indirectly related to natural disasters. These achievements have been grouped according to the dimensions of natural catastrophic literature, both in classes and in primary, secondary and high school stages. The findings of the research used by the document study method show that the achievements related to natural disasters were included in the course of life knowledge, social information, sciences, geography and biology. Natural catastrophic achievements have been found that more places are placed in the classes of social sciences than in the classes of science. The result is that the achievements in these courses are not sufficient in terms of quantity and quality, and that the achievements in some courses are repeated. It has also been shown that the achievements are more related to the size of knowledge of literature, and that the achievements in accordance with the dimension of sensory tendencies and behavior are insufficient. In a country where natural disasters occur frequently, such as Turkey, the importance of educating natural disasters readers are emphasized, a number of recommendations have been made in order to ensure this.
