Ülkemizde ve dünyada hızla gelişen ve etki alanını sürekli arttıran helal endüstrisi, hem ekonomik hem de sosyal bir fayda potansiyeline sahiptir. Bu açıdan helal endüstrisini iş dünyası yakından takip etmektedir. Bu kapsamda önemli sektörlerden olan gıda sektörü, helal gıda kavramı ile helal endüstrisine katkıda bulunmaktadır. Dünyada helal endüstrisinin ekonomik büyüklüğünün 2019 yılında 3.7 Trilyon dolar olması ön görülmektedir. Bu açıdan helal endüstrisine ülkemizin yapacağı her katkı doğrudan ülkemiz ekonomisine önemli getiriler sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışmada, helal endüstrisine global bir yaklaşım amaçlanmıştır.
