Cumhuriyet tarihinin en önemli dönüm noktalarından birisi tek partili yönetim sisteminin sona ermesi ve çok partili hayatın başlamasıdır. 1946 yılından sonra çok partili hayatın başlamasıyla birlikte toplumsal alanda yeni değişimler, dönüşümler ve evrilmeler meydana gelmiştir. Bu makalede 1960’lardan sonra Türkiye’deki değişim ve dönüşümlere kısaca değinilmiş, hususen İslami kesimin din anlayışında farklılaşmaya neden olan tercüme faaliyetlerinin etkileri konu edilmiştir. Tercümelerin Türkiye’deki İslami kesimde meydana getirdiği yankılar ve bunların sonuçları üzerinden değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Dönemin diğer toplumsal kesimleri konunun dışında tutulmuştur. 1960-1990 arası dönemde yapılan tercümelerin siyasal ve toplumsal etkileri değer yüklenmeden, objektif bakış açısıyla ele alınmıştır. 1960 ile 1990 arasındaki tercüme faaliyetlerinin okur-yazar İslamcı kesimi siyasi ve dini bakımdan mobilize ettiği, zihniyet açısından muhafazakar-milliyetçi kanattan kendisini ayrıştırdığına ilişkin değerlendirmelere ulaşılmıştır. Tercüme hareketleri neticesinde Türkiye’deki İslamcı kesimin bir kısmının (özellikle siyasal-aktivist kanadın) Mısır ve Hindistan kökenli bir Selefi bir çizgiye doğru kaymıştır. Bu selefi söylemin sonucunda İslam’ın geleneksel düşünce tarihinde itikadi kavramlar olan ilah, rab, ibadet, devlet gibi kavramlar yeniden tanımlanmıştır. Dolayısıyla 1960’lara kadar muhafazakar-milliyetçi-mukaddesatçı bir anlayışı kapsayan büyük bir ana gövde; 1960’lardan sonra ortaya çıkan bu selefi söylemin etkisiyle İslamcılar, milliyetçiler, muhafazakarlar, milli görüşçüler, ülkücüler, cemaatler, tarikatlar gibi farklı kollara ayrılarak küçük parçacıklara dönüşmüşlerdir. Tercüme hareketlerinin İslami kesimdeki etkisi 1980 darbesinden sonra da devam etmiştir. 1990’lı yıllardaki dünyadaki ılımlı İslam politikasıyla aşılmakla birlikte toplum içinde halen mikro düzeyde bile olsa bu selefi anlayış varlığını devam ettirmektedir.
One of the most important turmoil points in the history of the Republic is the end of the one-party governance system and the beginning of the multi-party life. After 1946 with the beginning of the multi-party life, new changes, transformations and evolutions have occurred in the social field. This article briefly referred to the changes and transformations in Turkey after the 1960s, especially the effects of translation activities that lead to differentiation in the religious understanding of the Islamic section. The translations in the Islamic section in Turkey have been assessed and their results have been assessed. The other social groups of the period were kept out of the subject. The political and social impacts of translations made between 1960 and 1990 were addressed in an objective perspective, without prejudice to value. The translation activities between 1960 and 1990 have been estimated to mobilize the Islamic part of the reader-writer politically and religiously, and to separate itself from the conservative-national wing in mentality. As a result of the translation movements, a part of the Islamic group in Turkey (especially the political-activist wing) moved towards a line of Egypt and India-based Selefi. As a result of this prehistoric speech, the concepts such as god, rabbit, worship, state, which are the concepts of itikadi in the history of Islam's traditional thought, have been redefined. Thus, a great main body that covered a conservative-national-mukaddesatist concept until the 1960s; with the influence of this predecessor speech that emerged after the 1960s, the Islamists, nationalists, conservatives, national spectators, the landlords, communities, and the religions have become small particles, divided into different hands. The influence of the translation movements on the Islamic section continued even after the 1980 coup. Despite being overwhelmed by the moderate Islamic policy in the 1990s in the world, this predecessor of understanding continues to exist, even if it is still in the micro-level in society.
