Bu çalışmada, 21. yüzyıl Türk edebiyatının öncü yazarlarından biri olan Hasan Ali Toptaş’ın “Uykuların Doğusu” (UD) romanının çok katmanlı yapısının betimlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Postmodern bir yazar olarak kabul gören Toptaş’ın diğer romanlarında olduğu gibi bu romanında da postmodern biçim ögeleriyle yapılandırılmış bir metinle karşılaşırız. UD’de, bu öncü roman estetiğinin; çoğulculuk, belirsizlik, metinlerarasılık, simülasyon denilen gerçeklik anlayışı, yeni biçim denemeleri, üstkurmaca düzlemi, değişim / dönüşüm / devinim, metnin odakta olduğu bir yapılanma, yaratıcı edim gibi en temel boyutlarının izlerini sürmek mümkündür. Çalışmada, UD’nin temel izleğini ve kurmaca yapısını betimleyebilmek için roman; içerik, biçim, anlatı kişileri, nesneler, zaman, uzam ve adlandırma açısından ele alınmıştır. “Metin” romanda ana erek konumundadır. Anlatı kişilerinden biri olan “metin” kendi kendini dile getirir. Her türlü yoruma açık, açık uçlu ve üstkurmaca düzlemine ulaşan bir metindir söz konusu olan. In this study, one of the leading writers of the 21st-century Turkish literature, Hasan Ali Toptaş’s “Eastern of Dreams” (UD) novel’s multi-layer structure was designed to be depicted. As in the other novels of Toptaş, which is recognized as a postmodern writer, we also encounter a text structured with subjects of postmodern form. In UD, it is possible to follow the traces of the most fundamental dimensions of this pioneering romanesthetics, such as multiplicity, uncertainty, intertext, reality understanding called simulation, new form trials, supernatural flatness, change / transformation / deviction, a structure in which the text is focused, creative action. In the study, in order to be able to describe the basic follow-up of UD and the narrative structure, the novel was addressed in terms of content, form, narrative persons, objects, time, length and name. The "Metin" is the main man in the novel. One of the people of the story is the "metin" who speaks himself. It is an open, open, open, and all-in-depth of the word. The Eastern of the Dreams, where we try to reap its multi-layer structure, is an open to all kinds of interpretation, free text, among experimental and guidance studies in Turkish literature.
