Anonim halk şiirinin en çok söylenen ve sevilen türlerinden biri de mânilerdir. Kendine özgübir gelenek içinde söylenen mâniler, bir ucuyla günümüze uzanır. Anadolu coğrafyasındadeğişik şekillerde adlandırılan mâniler, şekil ve muhteva açısından genel hatlarıylabenzerlikler göstermektedir. Belirli bir gelenek dâhilinde söylenen mâniler, Türk halkının şiirzevkini de en güzel şekilde aksettirmektedir.Mâniler, anonim halk şiirleri olarak bilinmektedir. Bununla beraber asırlardır mâni yazan âşıkve şairler de vardır. Çalışmamızda bu şairlerin mânilerinden örnekler verdik. Bu mâniler deyazma mânicilik başlığı altında incelenmiştir.
