Abstract:

The Turkish language, which is the world language, has attracted the interest of the societies in which it is related, has been tried to be learned. In addition to those who learn Turkish for a variety of reasons, the conditions of the global world are increasing the need for Turkish. Migrants, especially from Syria, must be able to meet some of their needs where they go. The language learning is at the beginning of these needs. As a result of the immigration movements, Syrian students under temporary protection in Turkey are taught Turkish within the framework of the project initiated by the Ministry of National Education and the European Union. With this project, the first needs of the students learning Turkish is to adapt to the society they live and communicate in the target language. In society, Turkish teachers have been assigned to teach language to Syrian children in order to be able to meet the language needs of immigrants trying to learn language in a natural environment faster. In order to contribute to the area, it has been attempted to address the elements that influence the language teaching of Syrian children. The purpose of this research is to determine a general framework of elements that influence the language skills of the Turkish students. The universe of the study is formed by Syrian students in Istanbul/Tuzla province, and the sample is made by Syrian students who learn Turkish at Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School.
