Abstract:

Sosyal Karakter, bir toplumda yaşayan insanların öğrenme ve etkileşim yoluyla kendi kültürlerinden kişiliklerine aktardıkları ortak değer ve anlayış biçimleridir. Türk kültürünün zihindeki biçimlenmesi olan Türk sosyal karakteri, toplumdaki ilişkiler ve iş yapış tarzlarında kendini göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada, yönetim-kültür ilişkisinde bugüne kadar detaylı çalışma yapılmamış olan ‘Türk sosyal karakteri” incelenmiştir. Özellikle Türk sosyal karakterinin, yönetim ve toplumsal gelişim süreçlerine frenleyici etkisi olan özellikleri irdelenmiştir.

Abstract:

Social character is a common value and form of understanding of people who lives in a society transferred from their own culture to their personalities by learning and interaction. Turkish social character, which is the form of Turkish culture in the mind, shows itself in relations and way of doing business. In this study, Turkish social character in management-culture relationship, which has not been studied in details till today, has been analyzed. Specifically, the attributes of Turkish social character that have restraining effect on managerial and social development processes are examined.
