Abstract:

This study examined the relationship between the emotional self-sufficiency of university students and gender, brotherhood, parent attitude, socio-economic level, and the level of resistance to trouble.  Relational scan model was used in the research. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 390 university students, including 287 women and 103 men. The research has applied the Personal Information Form, the Emotional Self-Capacity Scale and the Difficult Resistance Scale as a data collection tool. The study used T-tests, one-way Varians Analysis (One Way Anova), Pearson Moments Fragment Correlation Screening and Simple Real Regression Analysis techniques. The study found that gender, brothers and sisters, parent attitude and socio-economic status have no influence on the emotional self-sufficiency level, that there is a meaningful and positive relationship between emotional self-sufficiency and the level of suffering, and that suffering affects the emotional self-sufficiency level.
