Bu çalışmada Jarring Koleksiyonu’nda yer alan ve “Jarring Prov. 15” numarasıyla kayıtlı bulunan “An Interpretation of the Quran” adındaki tefsir ele alınmaktadır. Tefsir, bugün Çin’in Sincan (Xinjiang) bölgesinde yer alan Doğu Türkistan bölgesine aittir. Çalışmaya konu edilen Kur’an tefsiri Lund Üniversitesine 1982’de bağışlanmıştır. Doğu Türkistan-Yarkend kaynaklı eser 1929 tarihlidir. Kim tarafından yazıldığı belli olmayan bu tefsir, yedi adet sureden oluşmaktadır. Bunlar; Yasin, Tebareke, Kıyamet, İnsan, Mürselat, Amme ve Naziat sureleridir. Eserin dil özellikleri açısından Çağataycayı yansıttığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu bakımdan Çağatayca yazılmış Kur’an tefsirleri ve karışık dilli Kur’an tefsirleriyle yapılacak karşılaştırmalı bir çalışma ilgili sahada çalışan araştırmacılar için katkı sağlayacaktır.
This study is included in the Jarring Collection and "Jarring Prov. The 15th edition of the Qur’an is called “An Interpretation of the Qur’an”. The interpretation belongs to the East Turkistan region, which is now located in China's Sincan (Xinjiang) region. The interpretation of the Qur’an was granted to Lund University in 1982. The East Turkistan-Yarkend originates in 1929. It is unknown by who it is written, it is composed of seven sures. These are the Qur’an, the Qur’an, the Qur’an, the Qur’an, the Qur’an, the Qur’an, the Qur’an, and the Qur’an. It has been found that the work reflects the language characteristics. In this regard, a comparative study with the interpretations of the Qur’an and the interpretations of the Qur’an in a mixed language will contribute to the researchers working in the field.
