Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to study the root values included in all the teaching programmes of Hünkar Hacı Bektaş Veli Velayetnamesi. The work is important in terms of root values as it is the first study of the Hünkar Hacı Bektaş Veli Velayetnamesi. The quality research method was adopted in the study, using the document analysis technique for the purpose of data collection. The data collection source of the research is Hünkar Hacı Bektaş Veli Velayetnamesi, published in 2010 by Turkish Culture and Hacı Bektaş Veli Research Center. The analysis of the obtained data is created in accordance with the quality research approach by the visual analysis technique and the root values in the work are classified by giving the page numbers. The results of the study have determined the values found in the work, respectively, as “respect”, “helpfulness”, “love”, “responsibility”, “treatment”, “audit”, “honesty”, “patrioticity”, “justness” and “friendship”.
