Abstract:

This study aims to adapt the "Personal and Professional Power Perception Scale of Social Services Experts" designed to reflect the individual strength and professional self-perception that social services professionals have. There are two objectives to work towards this overall goal. The research was done in the screening model. There are three different analyses for validity. These are: Kendall Compound Scorecard, Verifying Factor Analysis (DFA) and Pearson Moment Collapse Correlation Scorecard Analysis. Five academic expert opinions were taken for the Kendall Consensus Assessment Analysis. A total of 401 social services specialists have been reached for the DFA. For the validity of the measurement, 104 social services specialists have been applied with the personal and professional power perception scale of social services specialists. For reliability, it has been taken advantage of the material statistics, the test half, the Cronbach Alpha Screening and the test-up test methods. In the framework of the study, the personal and professional power perception scale of social services experts, which was valid and reliable by French (1993) has been adjusted and the scale is valid and very reliable in terms of both language and structure and similar scales, and has not changed in time. The adapted scale in the study is recommended to be used in different examples and educational studies for social services professionals, such as social services professionals working in different organizational environments, such as civil society organizations.
