TRADITIONAL BELIEFS AND PRACTICES RELATED TO PREGNANCY ABSTRACT Having children, our society is seen as a part of cultural identity. Especially during pregnancy, various traditions, customs and beliefs are widely implemented in Anatolia. Some of the applications completely ineffective during pregnancy. The most common method, a children’s women can’t birth fit healing mist. Healing for the pregnant woman, honey, blackberry root, hibiscus seed, chicken droppings, flower and flaxseed fed wallflower. All of these applications in order to have a child on women, men and related applications is very small. More extensive practices during pregnancy. If the pregnant woman wants to have baby boy, only the male takes care of babies.
