Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2013 Fen Bilimleri Dersi Öğretim Programını öğretmen görüşleri ışığında değerlendirmek ve ulaşılan sonuçları 2017 fen bilimleri dersi öğretim programındaki yenilikler ile karşılaştırmaktır. Çalışmanın örneklemini 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kırıkkale’de bulunan 48 ortaokulun fen bilimleri dersine giren 116 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada detaylı veri elde etmek için nicel ve nitel verilerin bir arada bulunduğu karma yöntem sıralı açıklayıcı araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel verilerin toplanması için ‘‘Fen Bilimleri Dersi Öğretim Programı Değerlendirme Ölçeği’’ geliştirilmiş ve verilerin analizde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Nitel verilerin toplanmasında, programın getirdiği yenilikler ve uygulama süreci ile ilgili 25 öğretmenle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmelerin analizinde ise içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda, öğretmenlerin fen bilimleri dersi öğretim programının öğelerine ilişkin genellikle olumlu görüş bildirdiği ve öğelere yönelik öğretmenlerin genel kanısının ‘‘katılıyorum’’ şeklinde olduğu görülmüştür. Programdaki konuların sınıf düzeyine dağılımında herhangi bir sorun yaşanmadığı görülmüştür ancak araştırma sonunda insanda üreme, büyüme ve gelişme konusunun 8. sınıftan alt sınıflara alınması gerektiği sonucu bulunmuştur. Bu bağlamda 2017 fen programında, bu çalışmada elde edilen bulguyu destekleyen bir değişim yapıldığı ve konunun 7. sınıfa alındığı görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, hizmet yılı, mezun oldukları alan, hizmet içi eğitim kursuna katılma durumları ve öğrenim durumları ile programın öğelerine yönelik görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to evaluate science course curriculum used in 2013 according to the teacher views and to compare the results achieved with the innovations in the science course curriculum used in 2017. 116 science teachers of 48 schools in Kırıkkale in 2015-2016 academic year constitute the sample of the study. In this research, sequential explanatory research pattern of mixed pattern which quantitative and qualitative dates are with together, has been used to collect detailed data. Evaluation scale of science course curriculum has been developed to collect quantitative data and SPSS package program has been used in analysis of data. Collecting qualitative data, semi-structured interviews have been implemented with 25 teachers about innovations that program brought and application process. Content analysis method has been used in the analysis of interviews. At the end of this study, it has been seen that teachers generally give positive opinion on the ıtems of science course curriculum and the general opinion of these teachers about the items is ‘‘I agree’’. It has been seen that there isn’t any problem in the distribution of the subjects in the program to the grade levels but at the end of study, it has been found the result that the subject of proliferation, growth and growing up in humans should be taken to the subclass from 8th grade. In this context, it has been seen that a change that supports the finding obtained in this study, is made in science curriculum of 2017 and this subject has been taken to the 7th grade. It has been determined that there is no sıgnificant difference between teacher’s opinions about items of the program and their gender, service period, graduation department, status of participating in-service–training course, education status
