Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin müze eğitimine ilişkin algılarının eğitim sürecindeki uygulamaları da etkileyeceği düşünülmektedir. Çocukların müzelerden yararlanmasında etkin rol üstlenen öğretmenlerin bu konudaki bilgilerini, uygulamalarını ve süreçte karşılaştıkları sorunları belirlemek ülkemizde müze eğitiminin hedeflerine ulaşıp ulaşmadığı konusunda önemli ipuçları verecektir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin müze eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla 41 okul öncesi öğretmeni ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Müze eğitiminin gerekliliğine, müzedeki uygulamalara ve karşılaşılan sorunlara ilişkin veriler toplanmıştır. Veriler, betimsel analiz tekniği ile daha önce belirlenen temalar çerçevesinde düzenlenip yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; okul öncesi öğretmenlerin müze eğitiminin gerekliliğine inanmalarına rağmen müzelerin eğitim ortamı olarak kullanılması potansiyelinden yeteri kadar faydalanamadıkları belirlenmiştir.
the preschool teachers’ perceptions for museum education are thought to affect the practices of the educational process of children who are actively involved in the benefit of museums in order to determine the practices and problems they face in this regard and to achieve the goals of the museum education in our country, the aim of this study is to examine the views of preschool teachers about the museum education for this purpose, the semi-structured interviews with 41 preschool teachers were collected in the necessary of the museum education and the data on the problems encountered in the museum were collected in the framework of the previously determined themes with the scriptural analysis technique, and the necessary education of the museum education, as a result of the possible education of the education of the education of the education of the necessary education
