Bu çalışmanın amacı; ilköğretim sekizinci sınıf matematik dersi kapsamındaki “Geometrik Cisimler” konusunda bilgisayar destekli öğretim (BDÖ) yapılarak, BDÖ’nün öğrencilerin matematik tutumuna etkisini araştırmak ve sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin BDÖ hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu çalışmada ön test-son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışma 2009-2010 öğretim yılında elli üç sekizinci sınıf öğrencisi arasından deney ve kontrol grupları üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğretim öncesi ve sonrası her iki gruba da tutum ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Deney grubunda bilgisayar destekli matematik öğretimi kullanılmış, kontrol grubunda ise yapılandırmacı yaklaşım ile öğretim yapılmıştır. Ayrıca öğretimden sonra deney grubundan rasgele seçilen on dört öğrenciyle görüşme yapılmıştır. Tutum ölçeğinden elde edilen veriler ilişkisiz örneklem t testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Görüşmeden elde edilen veriler ise betimsel analizle incelenmiştir. Analiz sonucunda bilgisayar destekli matematik öğretiminin, yapılandırmacı yaklaşımla yapılan öğretime oranla öğrenci tutumlarını olumlu yönde geliştirdiği ve bu eğitime katılan öğrencilerin BDÖ’ye yönelik olumlu görüş belirttikleri görülmüştür.
The aim of this study is to study the impact of the study on mathematical attitudes of students, and to identify the views of the students of the eighth class on the mathematical attitudes, by conducting computer-backed teaching on "Geometric Objects" within the framework of the mathematical course of primary education. In this study, the experimental pattern of the front-test-final test control group was used. The study was conducted on experimental and control groups of fifty-three-eighth-class students in the 2009-2010 academic year. Before and after the study, both groups have been tailored. In the experimental group, computer-backed mathematics was taught, and in the control group, structural approach was taught. Also, after the teaching, fourteen students randomly selected from the experimental group were interviewed. The data obtained from the attitude scale was analyzed using the unrelated sample t test. The data obtained from the interview was examined by visual analysis. The analysis has shown that computer-backed mathematics teaching has developed students’ attitudes in a positive direction compared to the teaching by a structural approach and that students who participate in this training have shown a positive view of the BDÖ.
