Abstract:

Mobile learning supports a wide variety of teaching approaches and is qualified to be used in individualized teaching. The integration of technology and education depends on the establishment of the relationship between technological knowledge and pedagogical knowledge. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between the attitudes of the teacher candidates towards mobile learning and the techopedagogical training skills. The work group of the research carried out with the visual scan model constitutes a total of 397 teachers candidates studying in the last classes of the 10 different teachers training programs of two state universities during the spring period of the 2016-2017 Education-Teaching Year. The results show that teachers’ candidates consider themselves sufficient in advance in terms of knowledge in the techopedagogical field, and their attitudes towards mobile learning are on a medium level. There was no significant difference between the attitudes of teaching candidates towards mobile learning and the knowledge of the techopedagogical field and the gender and division variables. The findings obtained in the study have shown that there is a positive and middle-level relationship between the teacher candidates’ techopedagogical field information and their attitudes towards mobile learning.
