So many results that aren't mine?

Learning appears in the basis of human life. Learning does not occur only at schools. With the learnings at school, people learn most of their behaviour in social environment in life like family and friends. To exist among the societies of 21st century, learning should continue throughout life. In this context, life-long learning can be defined as the sum of all the learning activities in life. Accordingly, life-long learning can be seen as kind of behaviour which continues from birth to death (Miser, 2006; Duman, 2007). Purpose of present study is to examine the perception of prospective teacher about life-long learning according to various variables. .Accordingly, it was studied if the perception of prospective teachers differ according to their sex, department and their level of university. The population for the study consists of prospective teachers who were continuing their undergraduate degree at Ziya Gökalp Education Faculty, Dicle University in 2012-2013 educational year, Spring Semestre. 310 prospective teachers who were interviewed formed the data collection tool form the study sample. Data collection toll, to determine “the perception of prospective teachers about life-long learning” was developed by researchers for this study, is Likert- type with five options. SPSS package program was used for statistical analysis. According to findings, it was found that, in general, the level of perception of prospective teachers about life-long learning was high. The results of the study show that while the perception of prospective teachers about life-long learning does not differ significantly according to gender and department, it differs significantly according to prospective teachers’ class grade
