Abstract enThis study investigates the relationship between the mathematics examination questions asked by high-school mathematics teachers and the mathematics questions asked in the University Entrance Examinations in terms of Bloom Taxonomy. Document analysis method was used for this purpose. 290 mathematics questions asked in the University Entrance Exams from 1995 to 2004 were collected. Moreover, 959 examination questions asked in the school term of 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 by mathematics teachers who were employed in different types of secondary school. All questions were examined and classified into the levels regarding the Revision of Bloom Taxonomy. The study showed that although the mathematics examination questions asked in Public High Schools, Technical and Multi Program High School and Vocational and Commercial High School were not consistent with the mathematics questions that were asked in the University Entrance Exams, those which were asked in Anatolian High Schools and Science High School were consistent with the mathematics questions that were asked in the University Entrance Exams in terms of Bloom Taxonomy.
