Abstract:

Abstract The aim of this study is to identify the teachers who work in the primary and secondary education institutions located in the Nevşehir province center, center-related towns and villages of the school directors tend to perceive the leading behavior forms (transforming, sustainable and recognizing leadership) and to show organizational citizenship behavior (preventivity, superior responsibility consciousness, kindness, citizenship and civil virtue). The data was collected through the survey. According to the analysis (Pearson Correlation Analysis), there is a positive relationship between transformative and sustainable leadership and all dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior. The study found that leadership behavior recognizing freedom and organizational citizenship behavior do not have a meaningful relationship between personality, superior responsibility consciousness and kindness dimensions, but that leadership behavior recognizing freedom and organizational citizenship behavior have a positive relationship between the dimensions of citizenship and civil virtue.
