So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to explore analytically the theme of sacrifice comparing A Tale of Two Cities (1859) by Charles Dickens who is one of the prominent authors of the Victorian Era and Reşat Nuri Güntekin’s Damga (1924). As well as diverse minor sacrifices in both novels exist, the main theme is “sacrifice for the sake of love”. While in A Tale of Two Cities, the protagonist Sydney Carton is guillotined for his beloved, İffet – a nobelman doesn’t hesitate to be stigmatized as “a robber”. Though written in different periods, both novels form a basis for the study of comparative literature as they have in common. In this study, the novels dealing with the similar theme will be compared considering the data of comparative literature.
