Bu çalışmada Sakarya ilinde otomotiv sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir işletmede çalışanların iş stresi ve işten ayrılma niyeti ilişkisi incelenmiştir. İş kaynaklı gerilim sonucu oluşan iş stresi çalışanın iyilik halini olumsuz etkilemekte, aynı zamanda çalışanın işletme hakkında olumsuz tutum sergilemesine ve işten ayrılma niyetine sahip olmasına neden olmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda, Sakarya ilinde otomotiv sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir otomotiv işletmesinde çalışan 329 kişiye anket uygulanmıştır. Anket sonuçlarına göre mavi yakalı çalışanların beyaz yakalı çalışanlardan, 1.001 – 3.000 TL arası gelire sahip olan çalışanların diğer gelir gruplarına sahip çalışanlardan daha yüksek iş stresi ve işten ayrılma niyeti tutumlarına sahip olduğu bulunmuştur. Yapılan korelasyon ve regresyon analizi sonucunda, iş stresi ve işten ayrılma niyeti arasında anlamlı ve pozitif bir ilişki bulunmuştur.

In this study, the relationship of job stres and intention to leave of employees that work at an automotive company in Sakarya, Turkey was examined. Job stres that occured resulting from tension related job negatively affect swell being of employee, meanwhile job stres lead to exhibit employee’s attitudes negatively about firm and having intention to leave. For the purpose of the study, the survey was applied on 329 employees who work at an automotive company in Sakarya. According to survey results; it has been found that blue-collar employees have more job stress and intention to leave attitudes than white-collar workers, and employees who have 1.001-3.000 TL income have more job stress and intention to leave attitudes than other income groups. A significant and positive relationship has been found between job stress and intention to leave in the result of coorelation and regression analysis.
