Bu çalışmanın amacı muhasebe meslek mensuplarında mesleki tükenmişliğin iş tatminini etkileyip etkilemediği, etkileme durumunda ne derece etkilediğini temel ve alt boyutlar düzeyinde tespitinin yapılmasıdır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada öncelikle tükenmişlik sendromu ile iş tatmini kavramları açıklanmış ve konuyla ilgili Türkiye’deki literatür özetlenmiştir. Daha sonra muhasebe meslek mensuplarının mesleki tükenmişliğinin iş tatmini üzerine etkilerini belirlemek için Adana Hacı Sabancı Organize Sanayi Bölgesi’nde anket yöntemi kullanılarak bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Anket yöntemi sonucu elde edilen verilere tanımlayıcı istatistik ve regresyon analizleri yapılmış olup analiz sonucunda muhasebe meslek mensuplarının mesleki tükenmişliğinin iş tatmini düşük bir oranda etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca mesleki tükenmişliğin alt boyutlarından olan duygusal tükenmenin muhasebe meslek mensuplarının iş tatminini etkilediği, kişisel başarıda düşme hissi ile duyarsızlaşmanın muhasebe meslek mensuplarının iş tatminini etkilemediği ortaya konmuştur.
