Abstract:

One of the important tools for achieving the main objectives of the Turkish course is the literary texts contained in the lessons and lessons. Literary texts included in the curriculum books come to the forefront of important tools in developing students’ language skills. Indeed, the quality of the text contained/will be received in the books plays a decisive role in the development of the students’ main language skills. The types of texts in the curriculum books, the features that should be found in the texts have been given various information in the Turkish curriculum programs and the criteria related to them have been determined. But it is also necessary to apply to the opinions of the teachers/learners candidates who take important tasks in the field of application on the characteristics and types of the texts that must be found in the books. The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics that must be found in the texts in the Turkish curriculum books and the opinions of teachers and Turkish teachers candidates on how the types of texts should be classified. The research was carried out in April 2018 with teachers who worked in different schools in the Van ili center and teachers candidates who studied in the Turkish teaching department of the Van Hundred Years University School of Education. The research method is based on the quality research approach. In the research, the data collection tool used a structured conversation form consisting of open-end questions developed by researchers taking the expert opinion. In the analysis of data collected by the structured opinion report form, content analysis from the quality analysis techniques has been used.
