Abstract:

The objective of this study is to study the relationship between the social problem-solving skills of children aged 60-72 months and the level of preparation for primary school and the social problem-solving skills of preparation for primary school based on certain variables (gender, parent-educational status, socio-economic level, brothers and sisters, the continuation of pre-school education). The sample of the research designed in the relational scan model is made up of 104 girls, 60-72 months, 100 men, and a total of 204 children, who are continuing pre-school education in the MEB-related independent primary schools and primary school-related maternities in the provinces of Istanbul. In the framework of the research, the "Personal Information Form", developed by Yılmaz (2016) and developed by Polat Unutkan (2003) used the data collection tool "Marmara Prepared for Primary Education Scale". The study found a positive relationship between children’s social problem-solving skills and early school preparation levels. Comparative analysis found significant differences between groups in terms of various variables and the findings were interpreted in the context of the objectives in various recommendations.
