Abstract:

This study has studied the level of satisfaction of the need for psychological assistance of social support and confidence perceived in university students. The sample of the study consists of 846 bachelor students studying at Erzincan University. The research is designed in the relative scanning model from the imaging methods. As a result, it has been found that the needs of psychological assistance of university students differ significantly according to the variables of gender, class level, place of residence, place of residence, the status of survival of the parents; the number of brothers and sisters and the status of association of the parents have not shown any differences according to the variables. It is also identified that the social support and security that is perceived and that there is a significant and negative relationship between the needs of psychological assistance of university students, and that the social support and security that is perceived are a significant contributor to the need for psychological assistance.
