So many results that aren't mine?

Born in Dağyolu village of Kyrenia on 28 March 1944, Süleyman Uluçamgil began writing poems during his high school years and continued writing until he was martyrized. Süleyman Uluçamgil continued writing during the national struggle years of Cypriot Turks and he is one of the important artists who reflected the experiences in these years to his works. In this period themes like fatherland, nation, independence, struggle, love for flag, longing for Turkey (motherland), love for Atatürk, and opposition to colonization were intensely handled in Cypriot Turkish literature. Süleyman Uluçamgil covered these topics especially in his poems. In 1960s when Cypriot Turks were fighting for existence against Greeks, they were also trying to stand against the suppression of British colony administration. In the works directly written by Uluçamgil, opposition to colonization has an essential place which can be related to his personal experiences. In particular, the fact that he attended the struggle against the British had a huge influence in his writing this kind of works. Uluçamgil claimed an essential place in Cypriot Turkish literature with the works he wrote on opposition to colonization.
