Abstract:

This study aims to study the relationships between the life skills of teachers candidates and their informal awareness. Relational research method has been used. The data of the research was obtained from 243 science knowledge teachers candidates who studied in the second, third and fourth classes of the science knowledge teaching department. Data collection tools have been used with the "Life Skills Scale" and the "Ultra-Intellectual Awareness Reserve". The data was analyzed with simple correlation and simple linear regression analyses. According to the data obtained from the research, science knowledge has been determined that the teachers’ life skills are associated with their intellectual awareness. In addition, the scientific knowledge has been achieved to the conclusion that the teachers candidates are a promoter of their intellectual awareness of their life skills. It is believed that life skills can be effective in awareness gaining. It can be designed by giving more space to life skills in educational and teaching programs to gain out-of-the-art awareness.
