Abstract:

In this study, the complexity of the social environment and disputes in human relations in today’s organizations highlighted the need for leaders to have a system of ethical values and beliefs and the effort and actions in the organization to be developed in the framework of these characteristics. The leader, on the one hand, needs to develop their leadership styles, and on the other hand, organizational efforts must take the right decision by passing through an ethical pattern. It is important that ethical leaders implement their strategy to influence and manage the emotions of employees to organizational goals. The hypotheses developed in the light of the literary study on the impact of ethical leadership on emotional work for this purpose have been tested by a field research. The SPSS 18 study, first of all, contained identifying statistics on findings and variables related to the demographic characteristics of the participants. Correlation analyses were subsequently conducted to address the relationships of the variables with each other, and findings were presented to research hypotheses by creating linear regression models in order to reveal their effects on each other. The sample of the study in the province of Amasya consists of 343 health workers. The findings have shown that ethical leadership has a significant impact on emotional work and dimensions. The study seeks to contribute to the issue of emotional work that workers who work in health institutions often encounter.
