Abstract:

This study aims to study the relationship between adolescent’s emotional arrangements and parent’s attitudes. This research in the visual scan model was carried out in the 2016-2017 academic year. The study group consisted of 7th and 8th grade students of 500 adolescents. The data was collected using the "Emotional Regulation Measurement for Adults" and the "Mother-Father Attitude Measurement" (USA). The data was analyzed using Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis H-Test, Pearson Correlation Screenshot. The study found that there was a significant difference between the gender of adolescents, the number of brothers and sisters and the age of the father and the state of emotional regulation of adolescents. As the democratic attitude of the parents increases, the internal and external functional emotional arrangements of the adolescents increase, the internal and external non-functional emotional arrangements decrease, the protective/willful attitudes increases, the external functional, internal and external non-functional emotional arrangements of the adolescents increases, the authoritarian attitudes increases, the internal functional emotional arrangements decrease, the internal and external non-functional emotional arrangements increases.
