Abstract:

The main purpose of the research is to determine the opinions of school managers about school guidance services that operate in schools. The research methods are used by research methods. The research work group consists of 60 school directors and assistant directors who work in schools located in the Sakarya province and affiliated with the Ministry of Education. In the study, the data was collected with the "half-configured interview form" developed by the researcher. The questions included in the interview form were requested to the expert opinion in order to determine whether they are suitable for the purpose of the interview. Requirements have been made according to the recommendations and criticisms of the experts. Due to the epidemic process found in the research, the conversations with the administrators were conducted by e-mail, the obtained data was analyzed by visual analysis method. According to the findings obtained when the research data is examined, the school administrators have concluded that the guidance service is necessary for schools, that the students have a positive impact on their academic achievements, that they often take preventive and healing measures while interfering with problems, and that the studies that psychological consultants do towards students are the most recognizing and guiding studies.
