Abstract:

The Caucasian field has hosted many sizes and peoples throughout history. One of the highs in this area is the Kumuk Turks. Although there are many different opinions about the ethnic origin of the puppets, the most common opinion is that the mixture of Son and Puppets is a size. The most commonly spoken language after Avarcadan in the Dağıstan region is Kumuk Turkish, the language of the Kumukans living in this region (Kurtuluş, 2002). The Kumuk Turkish has been influenced by different factors over time due to the conditions in the area where the language is spoken. With the influence of Islam, Arabic and Persian elements, as well as Russian elements, due to the Russian pressure on the Kumuks, took place in the Kumuk Turkish, which with time carries the characteristics of the Kipchak language. With the influence of Azerbaijan, which is located in the south of Dağıstan, the Sonca elements are also seen in Kumuk Turkish. Because this region has been a transition point in the migrations of Turks from east to west throughout history, Kumuk Turkish also carries the characteristics of historical and contemporary Turkish languages. In this study prepared taking into account the relationship of Kumuk Turkish with the historic Turkish languages, in terms of phonetic and form knowledge in Kumuk Turkish, archaeological elements and archaeological vocabulary have been studied. Moreover, in this study, the status of the identified archaeological elements in the historical Turkish languages has also been demonstrated.
