Çocuğa ilişkin haberlerin haber değerinin yüksek olması çocuğun medya tarafından istismar edilip edilmediği sorunsalını da gündeme getirmektedir. Bu kapsamda bu çalışmada çocukların yazılı medyada ele alınış biçimlerinin ve bu çocuklarla ilgili yazılı medyanın habercilik anlayışının incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma içerik analizi türlerinden olan doküman analizi yöntemiyle yapılmıştır. Satış tirajı ölçüt alınarak topluma en çok etki ettiği varsayılan en yüksek tiraja sahip iki gazete ele alınmıştır. Amaçlı rastgele örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen bu iki gazetede 12 Mart 2018-25 Mart 2018 tarihleri arasında çıkan haberler değerlendirme kapsamına dâhil edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına bakıldığında, haber içeriklerinde çocukların hayatını kaybettiklerinde ya da bir cinayete şahit olduklarında isimlerinin açık açık yazıldığı ve yaşanılan ölümün hakların ölümü anlamına geldiği sonucu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Diğer durumlarda ise medya kişisel bilgileri dolaylı yollarla sunmaktadır. Bu bağlamda medya sektöründe çocukların kolaylıkla haberin merkezine alınmasını engelleyecek denetleyici birimlerin olması gerekmektedir. Bununla birlikte medyada ortak bir dil oluşturulmalıdır.
The fact that the news about the child has a high news value also brings the problem whether the child is abused by the media. In this context, the study aims to study the ways in which children are addressed in the written media and the understanding of the communication of the written media related to these children. The research was conducted by the method of document analysis of the type of content analysis. The sale tirage was measured and the two newspapers with the supposed highest tirage that had the most impact on society were addressed. These two newspapers, determined by the method of measurement sampling of intended random sampling methods, included in the assessment scope the news from 12 March 2018 to 25 March 2018. According to the results of the study, the news content shows that when children lose their lives or witness a murder, their names are openly written and the death of the victims means the death of the rights. In other cases, the media provides personal information in indirect ways. In this context, the media sector must have supervisory units that will prevent children from easily being brought to the news center. However, a common language should be created in the media.
It is high news value of news about the child. It being raised problem of whether the child is abused by the media. In this context, the aim of this study is to examine the ways in which children are dealt with in written media and news approach written media about these children. The research was carried out by document analysis method which is one of the content analysis types. Two newspapers with the highest circulation, which are assumed to be the most influential to society, are dealt with by taking the sales circulation into consideration. In these two newspapers, which were determined by criterion sampling method from randomized sampling methods, the news between 12 March 2018-25 March 2018 were included in the scope of the evaluation. Looking at the results of the research, When news about the children they died or witnessed a murder, it has been seen that their names are written clearly and death is the death of their rights. In other cases, the media offers personal information in an indirect way. In this context, there should be supervisory units in the media sector, which will prevent children from being easily placed in the center of the news. However, a common language should be established in the media.
