Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de 2013 ve 2018 yılları arasında Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi alanında yazılmış olan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinin içerik ve yöntem açısından genel eğilimlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçla, Yükseköğretim Kurulu ulusal tez merkezi veri tabanında, Eğitim Teknolojisi ve Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi alanlarında yayınlanan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezleri doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Toplam 190 yüksek lisans ve doktora tezi analize dahil edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular betimsel olarak sunulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, medya ve öğrenci çıktıları en çok incelenen araştırma konusudur. En çok araştırılan medya ise web-tabanlı öğrenme ortamlarıdır. Araştırma deseni bakımından karma yöntem kullanan tezlerin sayısı artış eğilimindeyken, tarama ve deneysel çalışmalar da popülerliğini sürdürmektedir. Üniversite öğrencileri en çok hedeflenen araştırma evreni olurken, uygun örnekleme stratejisi ise en çok kullanılan katılımcı belirleme stratejisi olmuştur. En çok kullanılan araştırma deseni olan deneysel desen daha çok medya çalışmalarında kullanılmıştır. En çok kullanılan araştırma desenlerinden, karma yöntem daha çok öğrenci çıktılarıyla ilgili çalışmalarda kullanılırken, tarama yöntemi öğrenci değişkenleriyle ilgili çalışmalarda kullanılmıştır. Web tabanlı öğrenme ortamları ile ilgili çalışmalar daha çok üniversite öğrencilerinin katılımıyla yapılırken, bilişim teknolojileri ile ilgili çalışmalar daha çok ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise öğrencileriyle yapılmıştır. İlgili çalışmalara göre medyayı konu edinen çalışmalar ve tarama ve deneysel desen kullanan çalışmalar popülerliğini sürdürürken, karma yöntem kullanan araştırmalar artış eğilimindedir. Ayrıca, halen nicel yöntemler, nitel yöntemlere göre daha çok tercih edilmektedir. Tezler daha çok ders düzeyinde öğrenme ve öğretim gibi mikro düzeyde yapılırken, organizasyon, kültür ve politika gibi makro düzeyde konular çok az araştırılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine the general trends in terms of content and method of the master's and doctoral theses written in the field of computer and teaching technologies in Turkey between 2013 and 2018. For this purpose, the Council of Higher Education has analyzed the master's and doctor's theses published in the fields of Education Technology and Computer and Teaching Technologies in the national thesis center database using the document review method. A total of 190 master's and doctoral thesis are included in the analysis. The findings are presented in a visual way. According to the results of the study, the media and student outcomes are a highly studied subject of research. The most researched media are web-based learning environments. From the point of view of the research design; the number of the theses using the karma method tends to increase, while scanning and experimental studies continue to be popular. While university students are a highly targeted research universe, the appropriate sampling strategy has been a widely used participant determination strategy. The most commonly used research pattern, the experimental pattern, has been used more in media studies. Of the most commonly used research patterns, the karma method is more used in studies on student outcomes, while the scanning method is used in studies on student variables. Study related to web-based learning environments are more done with the participation of university students, while information technology studies are more done with primary, secondary and high school students. According to relevant studies; studies on media and studies using scanning and experimental patterns continue to be popular, while research using mixed methods tend to increase. Moreover, quantum methods are still more preferred than qualitative methods. While the theses are more done at the micro-level such as learning and teaching at the course level, the topics at the macro-level such as organization, culture and politics have been very little studied.
