Ebû Abdillâh Muhammed b. Ahmed el-Kurtubî (ö. 671/1273), Tefsir, Hadis ve Fıkıh âlimidir. Endülüs’ün başkenti Kurtuba’da doğmuştur. Kurtuba’nın işgal edilmesini müteakip, Mısır’a göç etmiş ve burada daha ziyade eser yazmakla meşgul olmuştur. Ahkâma ağırlık verdiği el-Câmi‘ li-Âhkâmi’l-Kur’ân adlı meşhur tefsirini de büyük bir ihtimalle burada telif ettiği öngörülmektedir. Kurtubî, 671/1273 tarihinde el-Minye’de âhirete irtihal etmiştir. İlim tahsilini Kurtuba’da yapan Kurtubî, eserlerini daha sonra göç ettiği Mısır’da kaleme almıştır. Bu bakımdan Batı ve Doğu kültürünü bilen bir âlimdir. Nitekim onun yaşadığı zaman zarfı bu medeniyetlerin gerek etkileşime girdiği gerekse karşı karşıya gelip çatıştığı dönemleri kapsamaktadır. Bu yüzden müfessir ve tefsiri söz konusu olgu ve olayların çok önemli birer şahitleridir. Biz makalede rivayet ve dirayet yöntemlerini hâiz olan Kurtubî Tefsiri’ni, sırf rivayet metodu açısından inceledik. Bu çerçevede Kurtubî’nin Kur’an’ın anlaşılması, açıklanması ve yorumlanması için rivayet yöntemini nasıl uyguladığını ve bunu gerçekleştirirken hangi araç ve teknikleri kullandığını eksiksiz şekilde tespit etmeye özen gösterip, onları örnekler eşliğinde değerlendirdik.
Abû Abdillâh Muhammad b. Ahmed al-Kurtubî 671/1273 is the Thesis, the Hadis, and the Ficah. He was born in the capital of Endulus, Kurtuba. After the occupation of Kurtuba, he emigrated to Egypt, where he was more busy writing works. It is a great opportunity for him to find the name of the Qur’an, which is the name of the Qur’an, which is the name of the Quran. The Qur’an was revealed in 671/1273 in Al-Minye. Abu Abd Allah al-Qurtubi is a Tafsir, Hadith and Fıqh scholar. He was born in Qurtuba of Andalusia (Spain). His education starts in Qurtuba and continues in Egypt where he has immigrated, following the invasion of Qurtuba in 633/1236. Later, he settles at Munya and devotes himself to write books. Here he continues his education which has been interrupted during the invasion. Besides Qurtubi’s most important study is al-Jâmi li-Ahkâm al-Qur’an. He died in 671/1273 in Munya. Al-Qurtubi has collected knowledge in Qurtuba. He then wrote his books in in Egypt. In this respect he knows Western and Eastern cultures. His time covers the periods in which these cultures are both met and encountered. Here, al-Qurtubi and his work are very important witnesses of these facts and events. He also commented on all the jurisprudential verses in his book as well as the other verses. He used al-tafsir bi’l-rivâye and al-tafsir bi’l-ra’y methods together in this tafsir activity. We evaluated with examples how al-Qurtubi applied the method of al-tafsir bi’l-rivâye in Qur’anic exegesis and which tools and techniques he used.
