Abstract:

The study aims to determine the patient satisfaction of patients treated in urban hospitals. For this purpose, the scan model was preferred in the research. The universe of research is formed by patients who come to the Adana City Education and Research Hospital. The research sample is made up of 341 patients identified using the "Easy Example Method" among the patients who come to the Adana City Education and Research Hospital. The "Patient Satisfaction Survey" was used to collect research data. The data obtained in the study was analyzed with the SPSS 25 package program. Before the analysis process was passed according to the data obtained, the normal distribution test of the data was applied and it was determined that the data was suitable for the use of parametric tests. To analyze the data, the frequency, percentage, arithmetic average, standard deviation values, independent samples t test and one-way variance analysis were used. The study found that the satisfaction of patients treated in the city hospitals focused on the issues of the interest of the doctors, the cleaning services and the interest of the employees, the city hospitals were large and complex, the traffic difficulties that occurred while going to the hospital and the problems that occurred in the parking place, while the satisfaction of patients was concentrated. The study also found that there was a statistically significant difference between the age, educational conditions and monthly income conditions of patients who were treated in city hospitals and their perceptions of patient satisfaction.
