Abstract:

This research was carried out with the aim of studying the online privacy awareness of classmates in primary schools depending on various demographic variables. The universe of the research is the class teachers who are working in the official primary schools in the Army or Unnye district, the research has collected data from 188 teachers using the easy-to-access sample method. The data collection stage of the study was developed by Fear, Tax and Friends (2021) and the online privacy awareness scale, which consists of 17 articles and 3 factors, was used with the necessary permissions. Since the distribution of the obtained data meets the normality assumption, the independent sampling t test and variance analysis (ANOVA) have been used to study the differentiation between groups. Analysis finds that teachers who participate in the study have a high level of privacy awareness. The study discussed the differences between gender, education level, civil status, professional age and age variables groups in terms of online privacy awareness and the median scores of communication, security, attention. It has been found that online privacy levels of awareness do not show significant differences depending on gender, civil status, level of education, age and professional age variables. In the lower dimension of communication, women teachers have a higher awareness than men teachers.
