Bu çalışmada öğretmenlerin gözünden görev yaptıkları okul yöneticilerinin inovatif okul liderliği davranışlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın evreni Ünye ilçesinde bulunan resmi ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan öğretmenlerden meydana gelmektedir. Çalışma kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmış ve 167 öğretmenin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Akyürek ve Karabay (2022) tarafından geliştirilen 28 madde ve tek boyuttan meydana gelen İnovatif Okul Liderliği Ölçeği araştırmacı tarafından gerekli izinler alınarak kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan öğretmenlerden toplanan verinin standart normal ile uyumlu olduğu görülmüştür ve katılımcı öğretmenlere göre görev yaptıkları okul yöneticilerinin inovatif okul liderliği düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Demografik değişkenlere göre farklılaşmaların incelenmesinde t testi ve varyans analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde gerçekleştirilen analizlere göre katılımcı öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, öğrenim durumu ve mesleki kıdem değişkenlerine göre okul yöneticilerinin inovatif okul liderliği düzeylerinin anlamlı bir farklılaşma gösterdiği bulgusu elde edilmiştir fakat okul türü değişkenine bağlı anlamlı bir farklılaşma olmadığı görülmüştür. Erkek katılımcılara göre okul yöneticilerinin inovatif okul liderliği düzeyleri kadın katılımcılardan daha yüksek olduğu, yüksek lisans düzeyinde öğrenime sahip olan öğretmenlere göre okul yöneticilerinin inovatif okul liderliği düzeylerinin daha yüksek olduğu ayrıca 0-5 yıl arası mesleki kıdeme sahip olan öğretmenlere göre inovatif okul liderliği düzeylerinin diğer tüm mesleki kıdem gruplarından düşük olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study aims to study the innovative school leadership behaviors of the school managers in which teachers work. The universe of the study consists of the official primary, secondary and high school teachers in the Unye district. The study was used by the easy-to-access sample method and was conducted with the participation of 167 teachers. In the research, the data collection tool was developed by Akyürek and Karabay (2022) with 28 materials and the Innovative School Leadership Scale, which is made up of a single dimension, used by the researcher with the necessary permissions. The data collected from the teachers who participated in the study was found to be in accordance with the standard norm and the study found that the school managers in their functions, according to the teachers who participated in the study, had a high level of innovative school leadership. In the study of differences according to demographic variables, t tests and variance analysis methods have been used. According to the analysis conducted in the research process, the study found that school managers’ innovative school leadership levels showed a significant differentiation according to the gender, educational status and vocational age variables of the participating teachers, but that there was no significant differentiation according to the school type variable. According to male participants, the level of innovative school leadership of school managers is higher than the level of female participants, the level of innovative school leadership of school managers is higher than the level of master-level teachers, and the level of innovative school leadership is lower than the level of other professional senior groups.
