Karahanlı Türkçesi dönemine ait eserlerden biri olan Dîvânu Lugâti’t-Türk, Türk toplulukları ve dilleri hakkında önemli bilgiler veren kaynak bir eserdir. Makalede, Dîvânu Lugâti’t-Türk’te Ol anğar boyun sudı. “O, ona boyun eğdi, itaat etti.” ve Ol manğa yünğ sudı. “O bana, bükülmek için yün gönderdi.” cümlelerinde geçen ve “itaat etmek; bükülmek üzere sümek göndermek” anlamlarına gelen su- fiili üzerinde durulacaktır. Özellikle “bükülmek üzere sümek göndermek” anlamı merkeze alınarak su- fiilinin tarihi Türk lehçelerindeki kullanımları, çeşitli etimolojik sözlük ve kitaplardaki açıklamaları incelenecektir. Fiil üzerinde art zamanlı araştırma yapılarak Türk dilinin tarihi dönemlerinde yer alan metinler taranacaktır. Eş zamanlı araştırma yapılarak fiilin Türkiye Türkçesindeki ve ağızlardaki varlığı sorgulanacaktır. Dîvânu Lugâti’t-Türk’teki su- fiilinin kök anlam ortaklığı Doğu Türkçesi ile yazılmış bir eser olan Kasîde-i Bürde şerhinde tanıklanacaktır. Çalışmada su- fiilinin kullanım alanı ve anlam haritası ortaya konacaktır.

In the article, the usage area and meaning map of the verb will be presented.
