Türklerin bilinen en eski yazılı kaynakları olan Orhon Yazıtları, Thomsen tarafından Türk runik alfabesinin çözümlenmesi ve Radloff tarafından ilk okumanın yapılması ile birlikte araştırmacılar tarafından üzerinde en çok durulan konulardan biri olmuştur. Önceki yıllarda hem yurt dışında hem de Türkiye’de yazıtlar üzerine pek çok yayım yapılmış ve yazıtlar ile ilgili sorunlu görülen yerlerde yeni okuma ve anlamlandırma önerilerinde bulunulmuştur. Çalışmaya konu olan bu eser ise yukarıda ismi geçen ve Moğolistan’daki eski Türk yazıtlarını konu alan eserlerden ziyade esas olarak Moğolistan’da bulunan eski Türk Yazıtları, Yenisey (Tuva ve Hakasya) Yazıtları, Dağlık Altay Cumhuriyeti Yazıtları, Kırgızistan Yazıtları ve Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti Yazıtları olmak üzere Türklere ait olan yazılı belgeleri bir arada toplayan ve bu yazıtlarla ilgili toplu bilgi verme amacını taşıyan bir eserdir. Çalışmada bu eserin ayrıntılı tanıtımı yapılmıştır.
The Orhon Writings, the oldest known written sources of the Turks, was one of the topics most focused on by researchers, along with the analysis of the Turkish runic alphabet by Thomsen and the first reading by Radloff. In the previous years, many publications have been made on texts both abroad and in Turkey, and new reading and understanding recommendations have been made in issues related to texts. This work is a work that collects the written documents belonging to the Turks, including the Old Turkish Writings, Yenisey (Tuva and Hakasya) Writings, the Mountainous Altay Republic Writings, the Kyrgyz Republic Writings and the Chinese People's Republic Writings, and a work that collects the written documents belonging to the Turks and aims to provide collective information about these Writings. This work has been presented in detail.
The Orhon Inscriptions, which are the oldest known written sources of the Turks, have been one of the most emphasized topics by the researchers with the analysis of the Turkish runic alphabet by Thomsen and the first reading by Radloff. In previous years, I made many springs both in Turkey and abroad in places where inscriptions on troubled about the inscriptions were made in the new reading and interpretation suggestions. This work, which is the subject of the study, is not the works mentioned above and which are about the old Turkish inscriptions in Mongolia, but rather the old Turkish Inscriptions found mainly in Mongolia, Yenisei (Tuva and Khakasia) Inscriptions, Mountainous Altai Republic Inscriptions, Kyrgyzstan Inscriptions and People's Republic of China Inscriptions It is a work that collects the written documents belonging to the Turks together and aims to provide collective information about these inscriptions.
