Abstract:

The Arab world, along with Napoleon's occupation of Egypt in 1798, established the first contact with Western culture, and later interacted with this culture. The Arab society, which has been in a stable state until then, has realized that the West is far behind, as a result of this contact, and has initiated a development and resurrection movement in all areas with the initiatives of the state rical. This movement was naturally reflected in literature and poetry, and a modern understanding was adopted by abandoning the classical understanding in poetry, and in this context a number of poetic ecolls emerged. One of these scenes is the Apollo scenes that remained under the influence of the Romantic flow. The most important symbol of this column, which contributes significantly to the way of modernization of Arab poetry and brings sound in the entire Arab world, is Ahmed Zekî Ebû Şâdî. In our country, when we look at the work done about Abu Sadi, more than his contribution to the Apollo square, his place in the square, etc. We see that it is focused on the issues; but we see that there is not enough space for the poems. In this work, the founder of the Apollo column, the innovative and prominent name of Arab poetry, and the poem type known as "free poetry" to Arab literature, will be discussed by the poem examples of Ahmed Zekî Ebû Şâdî and will try to reveal his place in Arab literature and his contribution to poetry.
