Astronomi’ye Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği ve 7. Sınıf “Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi” Ünitesine Yönelik Başarı Testi Geliştirme Çalışması

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul düzeyinde astronomiye yönelik tutum ölçeği ve “Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi’’ ünitesine yönelik öğretim programı kazanımlarına uygun başarı testi geliştirmektir. Astronomiye yönelik tutum ölçeğinin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması 380 ortaokul öğrencisi ile yapılmıştır. Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi ünitesine yönelik başarı testinin güvenirlik ve geçerlik çalışması ise 266 ortaokul öğrencisi ile yapılmıştır. Güvenirlik ve geçerlik çalışması sonucunda 36 çoktan seçmeli maddeden oluşan, güvenirlik katsayısı .94 olarak hesaplanan ortaokul 7. sınıf ‘’Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi” ünitesine yönelik bir başarı testi geliştirilmiştir. Tutum ölçeği geliştirilirken, yapı geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Yapı geçerliği için açıklayıcı faktör analizi (AFA) uygulanmış̧, elde edilen faktör yapısını kontrol etmek için doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ölçeğin üç boyutlu olduğu ve 14 maddeden oluştuğu görülmüştür. Ölçeğin güvenirliği için Cronbach Alpha iç̧ tutarlılık katsayısı .91 olarak bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda 7. sınıf “Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi” ünitesine yönelik bir başarı testi ve ortaokul düzeyinde astronomiye yönelik bir tutum ölçeği geliştirilmiştir.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a success test in accordance with the scale of attitude towards astronomy at the high school level and the achievements of the curriculum towards the "Solar System and Beyond" unit. The study of validity and reliability of the attitude scale towards astronomy was conducted with 380 high school students. The success test for the Solar System and Outside Unit’s reliability and validity study was conducted with 266 high school students. As a result of the reliability and validity study, a success test for the 7th class "Solar System and Beyond" unit of high school, calculated as reliability ratio .94, consisting of 36 already selectively elected items, was developed. While the attitude scale is improved, construction validity and reliability studies have been carried out. Explanatory Factor Analysis (AFA) for Structural Validity is applied, verifying Factor Analysis (DFA) is conducted to check the resulting factor structure. The size is three-dimensional and consists of 14 matters. For the reliability of the measurement, Cronbach Alpha found the internal consistency ratio as .91. The findings resulted in a bas ̧ bees test for the 7th class "Solar System and beyond" unit and a attitude scale for astronomy at the high school level.

The aim of this study is to develop an attitude scale towards astronomy at middle school level and an achievement test that appropriate the educational program aims for the "Solar System and Beyond" unit. The validity and reliability study of the attitude scale for astronomy was applied with 380 middle school students. The reliability and validity study of the achievement test for the Solar System and Beyond unit was applied with 266 middle school students. The achievement test developed as a result of reliability and validity study consists of 36 multiple choice items. The reliability coefficient of the achievement test developed for the 7th grade ’Solar System and Beyond” unit was calculated as .94. While attitude scale was developed, structure validity and reliability studies were done. The scale was three-dimensional and consisted of 14 items. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient for the reliability of the scale was .91. As a result of the findings, an achievement test for 7th grade "Solar System and Beyond" unit and an attitude scale for astronomy at middle school level were developed.
