Şiddet, hem Türkiye hem de dünya çapında her geçen gün artmakta ve bu sebeple de devletlerin yanı sıra sivil toplum kuruluşlarının da sosyal sorumluluk projelerinin en önemli alanını oluşturmaktadır. Bu itibarla şiddet ilk olarak Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO) ve Birleşmiş Milletler Çocuklara Yardım Fonu (UNICEF) başta olmak üzere pek çok yerel ve uluslararası örgüt tarafından da toplumsal yaptırım ve temel çalışma alanı olarak incelenmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı şiddet, dindarlık ve kadın arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmada yöntem olarak literatür taraması kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın temel problemi şiddetin dindarlık ve kadın üzerindeki etkisinin nasıl ve ne yönde olduğudur. Araştırmada öncelikle şiddetin tanımı ve şiddet kuramlarına yer verilmiş daha sonra ise din ve dindarlık kavramları tanımlanmıştır. Çalışmada ayrıca İslâmiyetin ve diğer semavî dinlerin kadın ve şiddet hakkındaki görüşlerine yer verilmiştir. Dindarlık veya din olgusu bireyin duygu, düşünce ve davranışlarını düzenleyen bazı prensipler ortaya koymaktadır. Dinin şiddet olgusu ile ilişkisi veya insanların şiddet davranışını göstermede dini uygulamalardan etkilenip etkilenmemesi gibi durumlar da bu araştırmada incelenmiştir. Kadınlar sanayi devrimiyle birlikte çalışma hayatına atılmışlardır. Bu da onların aile içinde statülerinin yeniden ele alınmasını gündeme getirmiştir. Günümüzde kadınlar sadece çocuklarının bakımı ve ev işlerinde değil iş hayatında da belli bir yer edinmiştir. Kadınların aile içine olan ekonomik katkıları onların toplumsal statülerinde de iyi bir konumda olmalarını sağlamıştır.
Violence is increasing every day in both Turkey and the world, and therefore it is the most important area of the social responsibility projects of governments and civil society organizations. According to this, violence is first examined by many local and international organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Aid Fund (UNICEF), as a key area of social sanctions and work. The aim of this study is to study the relationship between violence, religiousness and women. Literature is used as a method of research. The main problem of this study is how and in what direction violence affects religiousness and women. The study first included the definition of violence and the theories of violence and then defined the concepts of religion and religion. The study also included the opinions of Islam and other semavian religions about women and violence. The phenomenon of religion or religion reveals some principles that regulate the feelings, thoughts and behaviors of the individual. Relationship of religion with the fact of violence or whether people are influenced by religious practices in showing violence behavior, the study has also studied. Women have been thrown into work with the industrial revolution. This has also led to the restoration of their status within the family. Nowadays, women have gained a certain place not only in their children’s care and homework, but also in their work. The economic contribution of women to the family has made them in a good position in their social status.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between violence, religiosity and women. Literature review was used as a method in the research. The problem of this research is how and in what direction the effect of violence on religiosity and women. In the research, firstly the definition of violence and the theories of violence were given, then the concepts of religion and religiosity were defined. The study also includes the views of Islam and other monotheistic religions on women and violence. The phenomenon of religiosity or religion reveals some principles that regulate the feelings, thoughts and behaviors of the individual. The relationship between religion and the phenomenon of violence or whether people are affected by religious practices in displaying violent behavior has also been examined in this study. Women started working life with the industrial revolution. This has brought their status in the family to be reconsidered. Today, women have a certain place not only in the care of their children and housework, but also in business life. The economic contributions of women to the family have also enabled them to be in a good position in their social status.
