Tüketim zorunlu ihtiyaçların karşılanmasının ötesinde bir olgudur. Tüketiciler alışverişlerinde hedonik, faydacı veya gösterişçi tüketim davranışları gösterebilmektedir. Yapılan çalışmada tüketicilerin alışverişlerinde hedonik, faydacı ve gösterişçi tüketim davranışlarının araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle çevrimiçi anket ve yüz yüze anket uygulanarak 416 katılımcıya ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada, frekans analizi, tanımlayıcı istatistikler, normallik testi, güvenilirlik analizi, faktör analizi, T-testi, Anova testi ve korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda hedonik tüketimin alt boyutlarından olan macera ve haz alışverişi, rol alışverişi, fikir ve sosyal alışveriş ile cinsiyet arasında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcıların cinsiyete göre faydacı tüketim ve gösterişçi tüketim davranışlarında bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. Faydacı tüketimin alt boyutu olan planlı alışveriş ile hedonik tüketimin alt boyutlarından macera ve haz alışverişi ile sosyal ve fikir alışverişi arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Bekârların alışverişte macera ve haz alışverişi boyutuna daha çok katıldığı söylenebilir. Ayrıca çalışmada alışverişte faydacı tüketim davranışlarının medeni duruma göre farklılık göstermediği tespit edilmiştir.0
Consumption is a phenomenon beyond the satisfaction of compulsory needs. Consumers can show hedonic, beneficial or indicative consumption behaviors in their shops. The study aimed at exploring hedonic, beneficial and indicative consumption behaviors in consumers’ shops. The online survey and face-to-face survey have reached 416 participants with the easy sample method. In the study, frequency analysis, identifying statistics, normality test, reliability analysis, factor analysis, T-test, Anova test and correlation analysis were carried out. The analysis found a significant difference between adventure and pleasure exchange, role exchange, ideas and social exchange and gender, which are the lower dimensions of hedonic consumption. There was no difference between the participants’ gender-beneficial consumption and indicative consumption behavior. There has been no meaningful relationship between planned shopping, the lower dimension of beneficial consumption, and the lower dimension of hedonic consumption, and the adventure and pleasure trade, and the social and ideas trade. It can be said that single people are more involved in the size of adventure and pleasure shopping. The study also found that the consumer behavior in the shopping has not varied according to the civic status.

In this study, it is aimed to investigate hedonic, utilitarian and conspicuous consumption behaviors of consumers. 416 participants were reached by applying online survey and face-to-face survey with easy sampling method. In the study, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, normality test, reliability analysis, factor analysis, T-test, Anova test and correlation analysis were performed. As a result of the analysis, a significant difference was found between adventure and pleasure exchange, role exchange, idea and social exchange and gender, which is one of the sub-dimensions of hedonic consumption. There was no difference in the utilitarian consumption and conspicuous consumption behaviors of the participants according to gender. No significant relationship was found between the planned shopping, which is the sub-dimension of utilitarian consumption and adventure and pleasure exchange, which is one of the sub-dimensions of hedonic consumption, and social and intellectual exchange. It can be said that singles are more involved in the shopping and adventure dimension of shopping. In addition, it was found that utilitarian consumption behaviors in shopping did not differ according to marital status.
