Rivayet tefsiri olarak nitelendirilen eserlerin her biri kendine özgü özelliklere sahip olmakla birlikte, bu tefsirlerdeki temel asgari müşterekler aynı zamanda rivayet tefsiri geleneğinin karakterini oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda rivayet telakkisi, kullanılan malzeme, malzemeyi nakletme yöntemi, malzemeyi istihdam etme amacı ve tefsir yöntemindeki temel yaklaşımlar bu geleneğin belirleyici vasıflarıdır. Bu yaklaşımlarda zamanla bazı farklılıklar ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu farklılıkların bütünü geleneğin yapısında görülen dönüşümü ifade eder. Bu dönüşümün göstergeleri tefsirlerde farklı düzeylerde gözlemlenebilir. Dönüşümün, bütün yönleriyle en belirgin olduğu, bazı açılardan da nihaî noktasına ulaştığı eser ise, İbn Kesîr tefsiridir. Bu tespit özellikle İbn Kesîr tefsirinin kendisinden önceki rivayet tefsirleri ile kıyaslandığında açıkça ortaya çıkmaktadır. Keza İbn Kesîr sonrası rivayet tefsiri geleneğindeki en önemli isim olan Suyûtî’nin tefsiri ile yapılan karşılaştırmaların neticeleri, İbn Kesîr tefsirine ilişkin söz konusu tespiti desteklemektedir.
Though each of the works referred to as the Rivayet interpretation has its own peculiarities, the basic minimum clients in these interpretations also form the character of the Rivayet interpretation tradition. In this context, the rivial tape, the material used, the method of transporting the material, the purpose of employing the material and the basic approaches in the method of interpretation are the determining qualities of this tradition. There have been some differences in these approaches over time. All of these differences represent the transformation seen in the structure of the tradition. The indicators of this conversion can be observed at different levels in interpretations. If the transformation is the most evident in all aspects, and it reaches the point of destiny from some points of view, it is the expression of the Ibn Qassir. This is clear, especially when compared to the previous Revelation Revelation Revelation Revelation Revelation. Abstract Each of the books qualified as “tafsir bi al-riwayah” has distinctive characteristics. At the same time, the common features of these different tafsirs represent the characteristic of the tradition of tafsir bi al-riwayah. The common distinctive features of tafsir bi al-riwayah are the consideration of riwayah, the genre of material used, the method of transporting the material, the purpose of employing the material and the basic approaches on the method of tafsir. In the historical process, some different approaches occurred in the common distinctive features of tafsir bi al riwayah. The whole different approaches should be accepted as an indicator of the transformation in structure of the tradition of tafsir bi al-riwayah. This transformation can be observed in the sources belonging to the genre of tafsir bi al-riwayah at different degrees. The work in which the transformation in its all aspects is most salient and reaching its final degree in some respects , is Ibn Kathir’s commentary. This determination is being well-comprehended, especially when Ibn Kathir’s commentary is compared with the narrative (riwayah) commentaries preceeding it. Also, the results of comparing İb Kathir’s commentary with al-Suyuti’s work, the most important author of the narrative commentary tradition in the period after Inb Kathir, prove the determination cited above.
