Abstract:

In the Farak books, the Ibadiyya sect was introduced as a branch of the Hâricîs. Today's Ibadis do not agree with this view by seeing themselves as a moderate group. Founder Abdullah b. The Ibâdîye sect, known as Ibad, nowadays has members on the Mediterranean coast of Africa except Egypt, and Uman and some other African countries. Humeyd al-Sâlimî, one of the contemporary scholars, is also considered to be one of the most important theologians of this denomination. The analysis of his works in the field of Aqaid and theological, will make an important contribution to the determination of the position of the Ibadi in the Islamic thought system, especially in the Akaid and the Kalam. On this occasion, the views of the Ibadi meet with Ahl al-Sunnah and Mu’tazila will be determined. In this article, we will examine the most important works of al-Sâlimî in the domain of kalam, Behcetü'l-Envâr, Envâri'l-Ukûl and the works of Meşâriku'l-Envâri'l-Ukûl which are considered as annotations of this work.
