Adaylık Eğitimi Uygulama Sürecinin Aday Öğretmenlerin Görüşlerine Göre İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı bünyesinde çeşitli okullarda göreve başlayan öğretmen adaylarının adaylık eğitimi sürecine ile ilgili görüşlerini ve düşüncelerini incelemektir. Çalışma nitel araştırma yaklaşımı çerçevesinde yürütülmüş olup çalışmada betimsel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılında, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından başlatılan “Aday Öğretmenlerin Yetiştirilme Süreci” uygulamasına Trabzon il merkezinde katılan 100’ü kadın, 21’i erkek olmak üzere toplam 121 aday öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler yarı-yapılandırılmış ve açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yazılı görüş alma anketi ile toplanmıştır. Bu ham veriler daha sonra içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre aday öğretmen yetiştirme sürecinde okul yöneticileri ve danışman öğretmenlerin aday öğretmenlere yardımcı olma açısından yeterince bilgilendirilmediği, bu nedenle bazı sorunlar yaşandığı tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcılar danışman öğretmenlerini mesleki olarak donanımlı bulmalarına karşın sınıfa aday öğretmenlerle birlikte girmelerinin öğrenci gözünde aday öğretmenlerin imajını düşürdüğü sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda aday öğretmen yetiştirme sürecinin kalitesinin artırılmasına yönelik çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The application process is reviewed according to the opinions of the candidate teachers

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to examine the views and opinions of teachers candidates who begin to work in various schools within the Ministry of National Education on the process of candidate education. The study was conducted in the framework of the research approach and the visual scan method was used in the study. The study’s work group, in the 2015-2016 educational year, forms a total of 121 candidate teachers, including 100 women and 21 men, who participated in the Trabzon province center in the application of “Aday Teachers Education Process” launched by the Ministry of National Education. In the study, the data was collected with a written opinion survey consisting of semi-configured and open-end questions. These raw data were later analyzed by the content analysis method. According to the findings of the study, the school managers and advisory teachers are not sufficiently informed in the process of training candidate teachers, therefore some problems have been found. The participants found their advisory teachers professionally equipped, but the conclusion was that their entrance to the class with the candidate teachers undermined the image of the candidate teachers in the student's eyes. At the end of the study, various recommendations were made to improve the quality of the teacher training process.

The aim of this study is to investigate the views of candidate teachers who started to work in various schools belong to Ministry of National Education about new teacher candidacy training practice. The study was conducted within the qualitative research approach and case study method was utilized. Study group consists of 100 female and 21 male total 121 candidate teachers who joined to “Candidate Teacher Training Process” which was initiated by the Ministry of National Education in 2015-2016 academic year in Trabzon city. The data of the study were collected through a questionnaire consisting of semi-structured and open-ended questions. Obtained raw data was analysed by employing content analysis. According to findings despite school managers and mentor teachers were eager to help candidate teachers due to lack of information some problems were aroused during candidate teacher training process. Participants of the study found mentor teachers adequately equipped however, it was determined that mentor teachers’ presence in the class with candidate teachers was an image breaker for candidates in terms of students’ perspectives. At the end of the study some suggestions were made in order to improve the quality of candidate teacher training process.
