Abstract:

In this study, according to the opinions of the counseling teachers, the process of training of the candidate teacher was studied. Research is a qualitative study described in the image. The study’s work group in the 2016-2017 educational year formed 20 teachers from teachers assigned to schools associated with the Ministry of Education in the province of Tokat and Zile district associated with the center, selected through the typical sample of the situation from the purpose sample methods. A semi-configured interview form has been used to collect data. In the study, three open-end questions were addressed to the consulting teachers, the first stage of the teacher training process, and the data collected were analyzed by imaging analysis technique and the topics and categories were determined. According to the research findings, advisory teachers indicate that they find the duration and content of the program in general sufficient. In addition, the advisory teachers have stated that the candidate teacher training program has made a positive contribution to the professional development of the candidate teachers. In addition, the advisory teachers said that if the forms they prepared and the candidate teachers prepared in this process were some missing, they found the forms useful.
