So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Kudüs, Müslümanların namaz kılmak için yüzlerini döndüğü ilk kıbledir. Bu sebeple o, bütün Müslümanlar için önemli ve kutsal bir mekândır. Kudüs, Ömer bin Hattab iktidara gelmeden önce Yahudi ve Hıristiyanların kontrolündeydi. Müslümanların 637 yılında burayı fethetmesi, İslam tarihinde önemli bir dönüm noktası olmuştur. Burası 462 yıl boyunca Müslümanlar tarafından huzur ve barış içerisinde yönetilmiştir. Buradaki bütün dini azınlıklar Hz. Ömer’in önerdiği adalet ilkesi çerçevesinde yaşamıştır. Kudüs, Osmanlı yönetimi altına girdiği dönemlerde ise Yahudi nüfusu buralarda giderek çoğalmıştır. Yahudiler burada Osmanlı yönetimi altında adaletle yaşamışlardır. Bu makalenin amacı özellikle Osmanlı döneminde Kudüs’te gelişen olaylara ışık tutmaktır.
